A Can-Am motorcycle! Before the Spyder and Ry ker and what not, Can-Am built some pretty neat stuff in the 70s and 80s.
Other than seeing this, the Bjorkdale car show was a bit... meh. Lots of old trucks and muscle cars, but it’s a lot more exciting seeing something on the street than at a meet, if I’m gonna be honest. Also, some douchebag in a bright orange Mustang GT with more scoops than an ice cream shop and fake Boss stickers did a burnout and some donuts. Don’t be a douche canoe and ruin it for everyone.
Canadian history tax.

Speaking as someone who’s never been on a snowmobile, a Jet ski, a dirt bike, I still found the video fascinating, thanks.

That Can Am 250 is cool. When I first saw this post, I had to check New England Motorcycle Museum ebay auctions to see if this was the one I was looking at earlier this year. I like it, but won’t pay what they want for it. T hey claim to have $4500 into it, which is probably what it’s worth.
I’m still looking........

I had an 80s Can-Am 250 ASE as my first dirt bike in junior high. It was far too powerful and I was far too inexperienced to be riding it. The left-hand kick starts are a pretty weird quirk of those old Bombardiers.

That’s a beautiful bike!
Aso you’re the first person other than my wife I’ve ever heard use Douche Canoe. She makes up all kinds of random sayings so I assumed she had with that one too.

From you, that’s a huge compliment. Thank you!

It is. The guy who bought it said it was pretty beat up when he first bought it (as in, it was barely together, the throttle got stuck on the test ride, and he basically wheelied for two blocks until he could kill the gas), so he’s done a ton of really nice work to it.
I thought it was a pretty common saying?

Nice looking bike! I have to say I didn’t even know Can Am went that far back.
